Angee – you should be able to sub at least half of the flour for whole wheat. You could do all of it, in fact, but you'll need to start with about 1/2 to 1 cup less flour and add as you knead. Whole wheat flour is much denser. King Arthur Flour's website has a lot of great tips on subbing whole grains for processed if you need more info.
